Journal Overview

The Ife Journal of Educational Studies (IJES) is an annual, peer-reviewed open-access publication produced by the Faculty of Education at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. It accepts both quantitative and qualitative academic manuscripts intended for educators, researchers, policymakers, and curriculum planners.

Manuscript Structure Requirements

1. Introduction: Must clearly detail the core scope, outline the structure, and establish explicit links connecting theory, research questions, and methodology.

2. Literature Review: Must present a focused thematic review justifying the significance of the problem under discussion.

3. Formatting & Style: Papers must follow the APA (American Psychological Association) publication manual (6th or 7th edition).

Submission Guidelines

• Page & Text Limits: Maximum length is 15 A4 pages formatted in Times New Roman, 12pt font. Additional charges apply for longer submissions.

• Abstract: Maximum of 250 words.

• Cover Page Details: Must contain paper title, author name(s), institutional affiliations, contact numbers, and email address(es).

• References & Footnotes: References must follow APA formatting in alphabetical order by author surname. Footnotes are strictly prohibited.

  • Assessment Fee: ₦10,000 (payable prior to review).
